Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information the game "Spellfuse: Tower Defense" (the "App") and its website td.spellfuse.com (the "Site") handle, why, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. The App and the Site are operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"), the developer of Spellfuse.

1. Summary

  • The App shows no ads and does not use advertising identifiers (the Android Advertising ID). It contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.
  • You can play without signing in. So that your runs can appear on the world ranking, the App creates a guest account for you that holds no name, email address or phone number.
  • Your ranking name, your profile picture (a mage picture or, if you choose, a photo), your best records and the build behind them are visible to other players.
  • Signing in with Google is optional. It lets you keep the same ranking account on another device or after reinstalling.
  • You can delete your ranking account and its data in the App at any time, or ask us to do it without the App (section 10).

2. Information stored only on your device

  • Your save data: progress, Shards, wands, spells, relics, upgrades, purchases you have received and settings
  • Battle recordings and the pictures and videos you make to share
  • The sign-in token of your ranking account
  • Your answer to the age question shown before a first purchase (only in the Japanese storefront of Google Play)
  • A photo you pick for your profile, until you choose to upload it

This information stays on your device and is deleted when you delete the App. If you use your device's backup (such as Google backup), your save may be stored there under that company's terms.

3. The guest account and the world ranking

When the App first connects to the ranking server, it creates a guest account. On our server we store:

  • An account ID made by the server
  • The name you show on the ranking (3 to 16 characters; an automatic name such as "Mage 1234" until you choose one)
  • Your profile picture choice: one of the App's mage pictures and its background colour, or a photo you upload (section 4)
  • The records of your runs: score, wave, time, Hell +N level, whether the run was won, the score breakdown (for example the foes defeated in each wave and the upgrades bought), the start and end time, and a snapshot of your build (mages, wands, spells, relics, artifacts and upgrades)
  • Values we use to check that a record is possible and to prevent cheating: a one-time run ticket, the run's random seed and the result of our checks
  • If you report a player: the report, the reason you chose (name, photo, cheating or other), the time and your account ID
  • If you block a player: the list of players you blocked, so they stay hidden on every device you use with this account

When a run ends while you are online, its record is sent automatically so that your best score can appear on the ranking. Other players can see your name, your picture, your best records and the build behind them. They cannot see your account ID, your email address or your reports and blocks.

4. Profile photos

If you choose "Choose a photo", the App crops the photo on your device to a small square (160 × 160 pixels) and uploads it. You can change your photo up to 3 times a day.

  • Each photo is checked automatically with Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch, which rates how likely an image is to contain adult, racy or violent content. Google processes the image in memory to answer and does not keep it or use it to train its models.
  • A photo rated likely to be unsuitable is rejected and not stored.
  • A photo the check cannot clearly decide, or one sent while the check is unavailable, is stored privately until one of our team looks at it. Until it is approved, other players see your mage picture instead.
  • An approved photo is stored where the App can show it to other players. When you replace or remove your photo, or delete your account, the old file is deleted.

Please do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or photos that show personal information, such as an address or a car number plate.

5. Signing in with Google

If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google gives the App a token that confirms your Google account, and our authentication provider (Supabase) links your guest account to it. It stores your Google account identifier and your email address, together with the other basic profile details Google includes in that token (such as the name and the profile picture address on your Google account). We use these only to let you sign in to the same ranking account, to keep your account secure and to contact you about your account or a deletion request. They are never shown to other players. We never receive your Google password. Google's privacy policy applies to your Google account: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. Purchases

In-app purchases are made through Google Play's billing system. We never receive your payment details, such as your card number. The App receives from Google Play which product you bought and a purchase token, and keeps them in your save on your device so that a purchase is given once and can be restored. Purchases are not sent to our ranking server.

7. Recording and sharing on X

Recordings and share pictures are made and kept on your device. "Post to X" hands the video or picture and a suggested text to your device's share menu or the X app. The App does not send anything to X by itself. Once you post, X's terms and privacy policy apply.

8. How we use information

  • To run the world ranking: show names, pictures, records and builds, and keep your account across devices
  • To check records and prevent cheating, abuse, and unsuitable names or photos
  • To handle reports, blocks, questions and deletion requests
  • To keep the App, the server and the Site secure and working

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. The checks that hide impossible records, unsuitable names or photos are automatic; if you think one was wrong, contact us and a person will look at it.

9. Service providers and where data is stored

  • Ranking server, accounts, sign-in and photos: Supabase, Inc. (United States). The data is stored in the United States.
  • Automatic photo check: Google Cloud Vision (Google LLC, United States). Photos are sent only to be checked.
  • Sign-in: Google (Google LLC, United States)
  • Purchases: Google Play (Google LLC, United States)
  • The Site: Fly.io, Inc. (United States; servers in the Tokyo, Japan region)

These providers handle the data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not give your information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

10. Deleting your account and data

  • In the App: open Ranking → Profile and tap "Delete account" at the bottom. This deletes, at once, your ranking account, every record you submitted, your name, your photo, your sign-in link to Google, the players you blocked and the reports made about you. Reports you made stay, without your account ID. Your game progress on your device stays; you can keep playing and a new guest account is made the next time you go online.
  • Without the App: follow the steps on td.spellfuse.com/data-deletion/ (you do not need to reinstall the App).
  • Signing out of Google, or removing the App, does not delete your ranking account by itself.
  • Copies in our database provider's daily backups, if our plan includes them, are removed when those backups expire, within 14 days. Server logs are removed within the period described in section 11.

11. How long we keep information

  • Ranking account, records, name, picture and blocks: until you delete your account. We may remove records, names or photos that break the Terms of Use.
  • Guest accounts: we may delete a guest account that is not signed in with Google and has had no run for 30 days.
  • Rejected photos: not stored. Photos waiting for a person: until they are approved or rejected.
  • Reports: as long as we need them to review the report and to deal with repeated abuse. They are deleted when the reported account is deleted.
  • Connection logs kept by our providers (such as IP address, time and the request): Supabase keeps its API and database logs for a short period set by our plan (1 to 7 days, and never more than 28 days). Logs of the Site are kept by Fly.io for a short period.
  • Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you and handle your request.

12. The Site

The Site uses no cookies, analytics or ad tags. It remembers your language choice only in your browser (localStorage). Our host, Fly.io, processes your IP address to deliver the pages and may keep short-lived access logs for security and operation. The Site loads no fonts or scripts from other companies.

13. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Players cannot read or write the database directly: they can only call the server functions we wrote, and records are written only after our checks. The secret keys that can change the database are kept only on the server, never in the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

14. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under a higher age set by the law where they live). Please do not use your real name as your ranking name, and do not upload a photo of yourself or of other people if you are a child. Parents and guardians can ask us to delete a child's account through the contact below.

15. Legal bases (EU, UK and similar laws)

  • The ranking, your account and Google sign-in you ask for: performance of a contract
  • Photo checks, cheating prevention, reports, blocks and connection logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the ranking fair and safe
  • Responses the law requires: legal obligations

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (section 17).

16. International transfers

Our providers are based in the United States, and the ranking data is stored there. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the safeguards the providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Where Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information treats a transfer as a provision to a third party in a foreign country, we follow the procedures that law requires.

17. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, Brazil's LGPD, Korea's PIPA or Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information), you may ask us to:

  • Give you access to your information or a copy of it, correct it or delete it
  • Restrict or stop using it, or object to its use
  • Give it to you in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting what was done before

You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live. For people in California and other U.S. states: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. Send requests to the contact below. To confirm a request is yours, we may ask for your ranking name or ask you to write from the email address of the Google account you signed in with. We reply within the period the law sets (for example, generally one month under the GDPR).

18. Who is responsible

The controller of the information handled by the App and the Site is an individual developer who operates them. Our name and address are disclosed without delay on request, as stated in the "Specified Commercial Transactions Act" notice.

19. Changes

When we change this policy, we update its version and date. We announce material changes in the App or on the Site before they take effect, and where the law requires your consent, we ask for it first.

このプライバシーポリシーは、ゲーム「Spellfuse: Tower Defense」（以下「本アプリ」）とそのウェブサイト td.spellfuse.com（以下「本サイト」）が扱う情報と、その目的・保存する期間・削除の方法を説明するものです。本アプリと本サイトは、個人の開発者（Spellfuse の開発者。以下「当方」）が運営しています。

1. 要約

  • 本アプリは広告を表示せず、広告 ID（Android の広告 ID）を使いません。分析やクラッシュの報告の SDK も入っていません。他社のアプリやサイトをまたいだ追跡はせず、情報を売ることもありません。
  • ログインしなくても遊べます。ワールドランキングに記録を載せるため、本アプリは名前・メールアドレス・電話番号を持たないゲストのアカウントを作ります。
  • ランキングの名前、プロフィールの画像（魔術師の絵、または選んだ場合は写真）、最高の記録とその編成は、ほかのプレイヤーに見えます。
  • Google でのログインは任意です。ログインすると、別の端末や入れ直したあとも同じランキングのアカウントを使えます。
  • ランキングのアカウントとそのデータは、本アプリの中でいつでも削除できます。本アプリがなくても削除を頼めます（10）。

2. 端末の中だけにある情報

  • セーブデータ: 進み具合、魔石、杖、呪文、レリック、強化、受け取った購入品、設定
  • 戦闘の録画と、共有のために作った画像・動画
  • ランキングのアカウントのログインの情報（トークン）
  • 初めての購入の前に聞く年齢の答え（Google Play の日本のストアのみ）
  • プロフィールに選んだ写真（アップロードを選ぶまで）

これらは端末の中に残り、本アプリを削除すると消えます。端末のバックアップ（Google のバックアップなど）を使っている場合は、セーブがその会社の規約のもとでそこに保存されることがあります。

3. ゲストのアカウントとワールドランキング

本アプリが初めてランキングのサーバーにつながったときに、ゲストのアカウントを作ります。サーバーには次のものを保存します。

  • サーバーが作るアカウントの ID
  • ランキングに出す名前（3〜16 文字。決めるまでは「Mage 1234」のような自動の名前）
  • プロフィールの画像の選択: 本アプリの魔術師の絵とその背景の色、またはアップロードした写真（4）
  • ランの記録: スコア、波、時間、Hell +N、勝ったかどうか、スコアの内訳（波ごとに倒した敵や買った強化など）、始めと終わりの時刻、編成のスナップショット（魔術師・杖・呪文・レリック・魔導具・強化）
  • 記録があり得るものかを確かめ、不正を防ぐための値: 1 回限りのランの札、ランの乱数の種、確かめた結果
  • プレイヤーを通報したとき: 通報、選んだ理由（名前・写真・不正・その他）、時刻、あなたのアカウントの ID
  • プレイヤーをブロックしたとき: ブロックしたプレイヤーの一覧（このアカウントで使うどの端末でも隠れたままにするため）

オンラインでランが終わると、最高のスコアをランキングに出せるよう、記録が自動で送られます。ほかのプレイヤーには、あなたの名前・画像・最高の記録とその編成が見えます。アカウントの ID、メールアドレス、通報やブロックは見えません。

4. プロフィールの写真

「写真を選ぶ」を選ぶと、本アプリは端末の中で写真を小さな正方形（160 × 160 ピクセル）に切り抜いてアップロードします。写真を変えられるのは 1 日 3 回までです。

  • 写真はすべて Google Cloud Vision の SafeSearch で自動で判定します。成人向け・きわどい・暴力的な内容を含む可能性を評価するものです。Google は答えるために画像をメモリの中で処理し、保存せず、モデルの学習にも使いません。
  • 不適切な可能性が高いと判定された写真は受け付けず、保存しません。
  • 判定がはっきりしない写真や、判定が使えないときに送られた写真は、当方の担当者が見るまで非公開で保存します。承認されるまで、ほかのプレイヤーにはあなたの魔術師の絵が見えます。
  • 承認された写真は、ほかのプレイヤーに見せられる場所に保存します。写真を替えたとき・外したとき・アカウントを削除したときは、前のファイルを削除します。

ほかの人が写った写真を本人の許可なく上げたり、住所や車のナンバーなどの個人の情報が写った写真を上げたりしないでください。

5. Google でのログイン

「Google でサインイン」を選ぶと、Google が Google アカウントを確かめるトークンを本アプリに渡し、当方の認証のサービス（Supabase）がゲストのアカウントをそれに結びつけます。そのとき、Google アカウントの識別子とメールアドレス、およびそのトークンに Google が含めるほかの基本のプロフィールの情報（Google アカウントの名前やプロフィールの画像のアドレスなど）を保存します。これらは、同じランキングのアカウントにログインできるようにすること、アカウントを安全に保つこと、アカウントや削除の依頼について連絡することにだけ使います。ほかのプレイヤーには見せません。Google のパスワードを当方が受け取ることはありません。Google アカウントには Google のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. 購入

アプリ内の購入は Google Play の課金システムで行います。カード番号などの支払いの情報を当方が受け取ることはありません。本アプリは、買った商品と購入のトークンを Google Play から受け取り、購入を 1 回だけ渡し、復元できるよう、端末の中のセーブに保存します。購入の情報はランキングのサーバーには送りません。

7. 録画と X への共有

録画と共有の画像は端末の中で作り、端末に保存します。「X に投稿」は、動画や画像と投稿文の案を端末の共有のメニューか X のアプリに渡すだけで、本アプリが自分で X に送ることはありません。投稿したあとは X の規約とプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

8. 情報を使う目的

  • ワールドランキングを運営するため（名前・画像・記録・編成を見せる、端末をまたいでアカウントを保つ）
  • 記録を確かめ、不正・迷惑な行為・不適切な名前や写真を防ぐため
  • 通報・ブロック・問い合わせ・削除の依頼に対応するため
  • 本アプリ・サーバー・本サイトを安全に動かすため

広告のために情報を使うことはなく、法的な効果やそれに近い重大な影響のある自動の判断もしません。あり得ない記録・不適切な名前や写真を隠す確かめは自動ですが、間違いだと思うときは連絡いただければ、人が確かめます。

9. 委託先と保存の場所

  • ランキングのサーバー、アカウント、ログイン、写真: Supabase, Inc.（米国）。データは米国に保存します。
  • 写真の自動の判定: Google Cloud Vision（Google LLC、米国）。写真は判定のためだけに送ります。
  • ログイン: Google（Google LLC、米国）
  • 購入: Google Play（Google LLC、米国）
  • 本サイト: Fly.io, Inc.（米国。サーバーは日本の東京リージョン）

これらの委託先は当方のためにデータを扱い、それぞれの安全とプライバシーの約束に従います。法律で求められる場合を除き、ほかの人に情報を渡すことはありません。

10. アカウントとデータの削除

  • 本アプリで: ランキング → プロフィールを開き、いちばん下の「アカウントを削除」を押します。ランキングのアカウント、送ったすべての記録、名前、写真、Google との結びつき、ブロックしたプレイヤー、あなたについての通報がすぐに削除されます。あなたがした通報は、アカウントの ID を外した形で残ります。端末の中のゲームの進み具合は残り、そのまま遊べます。次にオンラインになったときに新しいゲストのアカウントが作られます。
  • 本アプリがなくても: td.spellfuse.com/data-deletion/ の手順で頼めます（本アプリを入れ直す必要はありません）。
  • Google からのログアウトや本アプリの削除だけでは、ランキングのアカウントは削除されません。
  • データベースの委託先の毎日のバックアップ（当方の契約に含まれる場合）にある写しは、そのバックアップの期限が切れたとき（14 日以内）に消えます。サーバーの記録は 11 の期間で消えます。

11. 保存する期間

  • ランキングのアカウント・記録・名前・画像・ブロック: アカウントを削除するまで。利用規約に反する記録・名前・写真は削除することがあります。
  • ゲストのアカウント: Google でログインしておらず、30 日間ランがないゲストのアカウントは削除することがあります。
  • 受け付けなかった写真: 保存しません。人の確認を待つ写真: 承認または却下するまで。
  • 通報: 確かめ、くり返しの迷惑な行為に対応するのに必要な間。通報されたアカウントが削除されると消えます。
  • 委託先の通信の記録（IP アドレス・時刻・リクエストなど）: Supabase は API とデータベースの記録を当方の契約で決まる短い期間（1〜7 日。長くても 28 日）保存します。本サイトの記録は Fly.io が短い期間保存します。
  • 当方に送られたメール: 回答と依頼の対応に必要な間。

12. 本サイト

本サイトは Cookie・分析・広告のタグを使いません。言語の選択だけをお使いのブラウザの中（localStorage）に覚えます。ホスティングの Fly.io は、ページを届けるために IP アドレスを扱い、安全と運用のために短い期間アクセスの記録を保存することがあります。本サイトは他社のフォントやスクリプトを読み込みません。

13. 安全

情報は暗号化された通信（HTTPS）で送ります。プレイヤーはデータベースを直接読み書きできず、当方が作ったサーバーの関数だけを呼べます。記録は当方の確かめのあとにだけ書き込みます。データベースを変えられる秘密の鍵はサーバーにだけ置き、本アプリには入れません。ただし、完全に安全な通信や保存の方法はありません。漏えいが起きたときは、法律に従ってあなたと当局に知らせます。

14. 子ども

本アプリは 13 歳未満の子どもを対象としておらず、13 歳未満（住んでいる国の法律がより高い年齢を定める場合はその年齢未満）の子どもの個人情報を知りながら集めることはありません。子どもは、本名をランキングの名前にしたり、自分やほかの人の写真を上げたりしないでください。保護者の方は、下の連絡先から子どものアカウントの削除を頼めます。

15. 法的な根拠（EU・英国などの法律）

  • 依頼されたランキング・アカウント・Google でのログイン: 契約の履行
  • 写真の判定、不正の防止、通報、ブロック、通信の記録: ランキングを公平で安全に保つという当方の正当な利益
  • 法律が求める対応: 法的な義務

正当な利益にもとづく取り扱いには、いつでも異議を述べられます（17）。

16. 国外への移転

委託先は米国の会社で、ランキングのデータは米国に保存します。法律が求める場合は、委託先が用意する保護の措置（欧州委員会の標準契約条項など）にもとづいて移転します。日本の個人情報保護法で外国にある第三者への提供に当たる場合は、同法が求める手続きに従います。

17. あなたの権利

住んでいる場所の法律（GDPR、英国 GDPR、米国の州のプライバシー法、ブラジルの LGPD、韓国の個人情報保護法、日本の個人情報保護法など）により、次のことを当方に求められます。

  • 情報の開示・写しの提供・訂正・削除
  • 利用の制限・停止、利用への異議
  • 機械で読める形での提供
  • 同意の撤回（撤回の前の取り扱いには影響しません）

住んでいる場所のデータ保護の当局に苦情を申し立てることもできます。カリフォルニア州などの米国の州の方へ: 当方は個人情報を売らず、行動にもとづく広告のために共有もしません。権利を使ったことで不利に扱うこともありません。依頼は下の連絡先へ送ってください。依頼が本人からのものかを確かめるため、ランキングの名前を聞いたり、ログインした Google アカウントのメールアドレスから送るようお願いしたりすることがあります。法律の定める期間内（GDPR では原則 1 か月）に回答します。

18. 責任者

本アプリと本サイトが扱う情報の管理者は、これらを運営する個人の開発者です。氏名と住所は、「特定商取引法に基づく表記」のとおり、請求があれば遅滞なく開示します。

19. 変更

このポリシーを変えたときは、版と日付を更新します。重要な変更は、効力が生じる前に本アプリか本サイトで知らせ、法律で同意が必要な場合は先に同意をお願いします。
